What It Does
Provides a state constitutional right to abortion before fetal viability. This passed in 2024 and must be approved a second time in 2026 to become part of the Nevada constitution.
▌ Conservative Take
This is the second vote required to permanently enshrine abortion access in Nevada's constitution. It passed in 2024 and is likely to pass again. Conservative voters: NO — oppose permanently locking abortion access into the constitution with no legislative flexibility.
For conservative voters: NO is the clear choice.
Campaign Finance
Expect major spending from both sides — this is the marquee Nevada ballot battle.
What It Does
Requires voters to present photo identification when voting in person or provide the last four digits of their driver's license or Social Security number when voting by mail. Passed in 2024 — requires second approval to become law.
▌ Conservative Take
Voter ID is election integrity common sense. 80%+ of Americans support it in polling. Nevada passed this in 2024 and now voters affirm it a second time. The mail voting alternative option is reasonable accommodation. Conservative voters: YES — finish the job, lock in voter ID.
For conservative voters: YES is the clear choice.
Campaign Finance
Expect heavy spending from both sides.
