What It Does

Asks Michigan voters whether to hold a state constitutional convention. Required by the Michigan constitution every 16 years. If approved, delegates would be elected to rewrite the state constitution.

▌ Conservative Take

Constitutional conventions are extremely high-risk. In Michigan's current political environment — with Democrats controlling state government — a constitutional convention could produce a far-left rewrite of the state constitution. The 2022 progressive amendments show what Democrats will do with constitutional power. Conservative voters: NO — do not open this door right now.

For conservative voters: NO is the clear choice.
