What It Does
Increases penalties for manufacturing, dispensing, sale, and possession of fentanyl and certain synthetic opioids. Requires mandated treatment for certain drug crime violations. Limits sentencing exceptions in fentanyl-related crimes that cause another person's death.

Prohibits healthcare professionals from performing surgeries on persons under age 18 for the purpose of treatment in response to a minor's perception of sex or gender. Prohibits use of state or federal funds for such surgery.
